Our menus are tailored to the season, built around what’s fresh and available. We work closely with local fishermen and butchers to source the best seafood and meats, creating dishes that highlight the incredible produce of Beara and West Cork - honest, vibrant, and full of flavour.
Our chef, Pema, brings inspiration from her travels and upbringing, blending local ingredients with touches of Middle Eastern and global flavours.

We're a small, family-run business, and offering a personal, warm, and memorable experience is at the heart of what we do.
Matti and I will be here to personally look after you and your guests throughout your stay, making sure everything goes smoothly. Our chef, Pema - trained at Ballymaloe - brings creativity, a love for sustainable cooking, and a passion for farm-to-table meals.
We are always nearby giving you plenty of space, while quietly making sure everything’s taken care of, from the fire in the lounge to any small detail that might come up. When you book Mossie’s, the place is yours alone. We close the day before and after each exclusive stay to prepare everything with care, so it all feels easy from the moment you arrive.
Check-in is from 2pm, with check-out at 1pm. That gives you time to arrive slowly, maybe add on an afternoon tea, start your event with a welcome drink, or take a moment in the sauna before dinner.

We hold ceremonies outdoors on our beautiful grounds whenever possible. However, if the weather forecast looks uncertain, we make the final decision 2-3 days in advance to ensure a smooth experience. If needed, we’ll move the ceremony inside to a cosy space, with enough room for all guests.
We personally coordinate everything onsite. Vanessa takes care of styling, decor and schedule, while Matti ensures the smooth running of the day and all behind-the-scenes details.
Weddings here are purely symbolic. Couples must take care of the legal marriage separately before or after their stay.
Dogs are welcome in Hanno’s Workshop! Just let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly. €35 fee applies.
Absolutely - children are welcome.
Some areas of the house are accessible, and we’re happy to chat through any specific mobility needs to see if it’s a good fit.
